A comparison:
How do Janice Galloway’s The Trick Is To Keep Breathing and A. L. Kennedy’s Original Bliss differ or agree in the thematic story and in narrative structure?
In my essay I will compare the novel The Trick Is To Keep breathing by Janice Galloway with A. L. Kennedy’s Original Bliss. After a short summary of the books’ contents, I will concentrate on the aspect of theme/story/plot. What is each book about? Are there similarities and/or differences between the protagonists and the story that is told?
In the following part I’m going to analyse and compare the dissimilar or analogous ways of using narrative structure and techniques. How do the narrations differ and which distinctive techniques are used by the authors? When are they used? Why are they used? I will try to answer these questions in my essay.
