About the Author
Robert Cettl is a former SAR Research Fellow at Australia’s National Film & Sound Archive (NFSA). A freelance author, ethnographic filmmaker, private teacher and digital publisher, his film non-fiction writing has been published in the USA by McFarland & Co. Inc. – Serial Killer Cinema and Terrorism in American Cinema – and Bloomsbury Academic – the essay “Forced Entry: Serial Killer Pornography as Patriarchal Paradox” in the anthology Murders & Acquisitions edited by Prof. Alzeena MacDonald. His digital video feature films (to date Confidential Report: An Australian Transgression and TLC Punk) are housed in the NFSA and his film non-fiction books have been collected by such as the BFI, the US Library of Congress and the National Libraries of Australia and China. An oft-member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film / Media, a Graduate Diploma in Information Study, a Graduate Certificate in TESOL and a Masters in TESOL.
