Political satire for militant atheists. Asked by a leading arts periodical to submit a "platform" exploring his radical theories of transgressive art's relationship to political Christianity, a disreputable author (denounced as a "pornographer" due to his explicit verse and brooding, Gothic short stories) submitted six mock columns which ridiculed Christianity with a no-holds-barred vicious humour combining deliberately ironic (not actual) hate speech, humour and pornographic caricature, poking fun at everything from Paedophile Priests to the Immaculate Conception - all as humour.

It was a comedy of manners - a mock political op-ed piece, the content of which began with some basis in rhetorical validity but progressed into satiric, sarcastic absurdity (simply for the sake of the literary exercise). It was a lampoon of the type of vitriol later practiced by such right-wing spokespersons as Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, though here using their assaultive manner in order to attack the religious beliefs that underpinned their hate-filled conservative rhetoric.

The cost to the author, who mistakenly believed in the open-mindedness of his countrymen and a belief in free speech as a political absolute, was disastrous: excoriated by the Christian community he disappeared into underground obscurity until resurrected when the e-book revolution hit Australia whereupon his long-lost mock columns under the pseudonym of "the satirist" were re-formatted and published with explanatory notes as a mini e-book.

Radical satire (or offensive trash), this mini e-book contains material of an adult, political and religious nature which may cause offense - YOU HAVE BEEN DULY WARNED! The choice, however, is yours - at least for the time being.
