Tiver must survive both pirates and suncatchers.

Which is more dangerous: ancient data suncatchers or pirates?

When pirates descend on the archeological dig of an ancient crashed spaceship, Tiver Holiway makes a daring escape with the prizes he's sure they want: ancient intact data suncatchers. Invading pirates is bad enough. The lightening storm activating the suncatchers is even worse.

Tiver finds himself changed in ways he doesn't understand. Together with his friends, he seeks to understand what happened to him.

Before the mysterious images invading his mind overwhelm him completely.

A science fiction novelette. Title is included in the "Children of Jad Omnibus" collection.

It's said I was launched into space from birth and I haven't been back to Earth since.

There might be some truth in that.

As a reader I love science fiction with great plots, interesting characters, exotic locales, all accompanied by a sense of wonder with optimistic endings. As a writer, I love the same.
