Tales of magic and Fantasy - not only for children
A water ghost, a young magician, a magic-talented hare and a good witch: Magic and intelligence, reality and legend connect in these stories.
Two stories, which tell about the force of nature and the thoughtlessness of men.
One story, in which counts to consider well what to wish.
And a very particular Christmas story.
Some years ago, “The Brook“ and “Cork“ have been published in German, the Christmas story in Italian. Short stories with wisdom, not only for children.
From reviews:
"The four stories were a delight to read. My mother used to read me fairy tales, and these reminded me of them. But I don't recall reading or hearing these four tales before, so they were new to me. They had an interesting theme going through them of not interfering with nature. Or, in the last one, with the Christmas witch.
At times I could tell that English was not the author's native language. Instead of distracting me, it added an extra fairy-tale feel to the stories."
"This is a small book of four short fairy-tale type stories that have been translated from German or Italian. The first and third stories both relay a warning of what can happen when mankind tries to alter nature, the second story is an instructional tale (think things through!) and the last story is possibly the most fun - poking fun at the logistical problems caused by the need to deliver presents for Christmas.
