No Diminishing Returns

Ex-ForceRecon Marine, now private detective, Martin Glazman, takes four bullets in the back protecting the woman he believes will become the love of his life. Kino Kessay, Marty’s boyhood friend, Marty’s sister, Holly Glazman, a gorgeous, tough Phoenix homicide detective, and her partner, Frank Ducek, who has romantic aspirations of his own with Holly, try to protect Charly and Marty as they fight for their lives.
Will Marty recover from his near fatal wounds? Will Charly finally emerge from a coma that has her lying in a hospice, life and death betting on the outcome? If they do recover, will their physical and mental status leave them less than they were before? And if they do manage to return to some semblance of their former selves, can they extricate themselves from the Groat’s ongoing efforts to take their lives and shut them up forever? The question, then, is, how do you fight an entire crime syndicate once they have marked you for death?
