Sholpan is a 35,000 word companion novella to Bringing Stella Home, and follows Stella's storyline through the first half of the full length novel. About 25% of the novella contains new material not included in Bringing Stella Home.

Joe Vasicek was born in Texas, grew up in Massachusetts, and has lived in Illinois, California, Utah, Washington DC, and Amman, Jordan (for one very awesome summer). He attended Brigham Young University from '06 to '10, where he studied Political Science and Middle East Studies & Arabic. He has been writing since he was 8 years old and making up stories since before that.
