Adam Greenman wwoofed and worked his way around the world for 10 years, travelling to Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia , often helping on organic farms in exhange for his food and lodgings with the membership organisation WWOOF, who have opportunities in nearly 100 countries worldwide.
'The Practical Guide To Wwoofing' is based on Adam Greenmans extensive experience as a wwoofer and is also interwoven with tales of experiences inbetween wwoofing.
When he discovered that there was not a paperback book on WWOOF he wrote one and presented to the lady who funded wwoof in 1971, Sue Coppard. She said that it was a: "Delightful and informative read. accessibly and humanly written - it almost reads itself to you". The e-book shortly followed and now sells all around the world.
