In The Library
Publication date: 16/05/2011
Life in the universal library is no paradise
Borges once famously said that paradise for him would be a kind of library. He even invented a fictional library, the universal library, which holds every possible book that could ever be written. The only problem for Lowell, the hero of 'In The Library,' is how to survive getting the book he wants. Lowell never thought a library could be the most dangerous place in the universe. Then he gets an assignment to retrieve a book from the universal library. He soon encounters marauding bands of library patrons crazed with blood lust. Before long Lowell is in a battle to the death that will test his strength, his courage, and his dedication to the beneficial effects of books and literature.
