The temple of science has been built by thinkers, scientists, creators of the world. It is the
evolutionary process which representatives of various nations and races took part in. Science
does not belong to any ethnic or religious group.
The medieval period in history of scientific and philosophical conception evolution in Azerbaijan
was rather productive. Such leading figures as Abu - l -Hasan Bahmanyar, Shihabaddin
Maraghai, Abu Said Urmavi, Shamsaddin Hosrovshakh Tabrizi, Afzaladdin Khagani Shirvani,
Sirajaddin Urmavi, Nasiraddin Tusi, Kamaladdin Ardabili, Falaki Shirvani, Nizami Ganjavi,
Mohammad Fizuli, Kamaladdin Mahsud Shirvani, Mohammad Nakhchivani , Shihabaddin
Omar Sukhraverdi and other lived and created in this period. Among them, poets, thinkers and
philosophers whose magnificent works have been the part of world art treasure. Professional
scholars created new leads in philosophy, logic, natural history and other sciences and their
works do not become out of date. Aristotle’s philosophy and physics follower (384 – 322 B.C),
a disciple of the great scholar and encyclopedist Abu – Ali Ibn Sina (980 - 1037) Abu-l-Hasan
Bahmanyar Ibn Marzban al – Azerbaijani (993 - 1066) made his own contribution to scientific
and philosophical conception evolution. He was one of greatest representatives of eastern peripatetism.
