First of three volumes containing poetry written over twenty years
This volume written over twenty years is comprised of sonnets, odes, and free verse. The poetry is introspective and cathartic in nature and deals with the angst of loving and not being loved back. The common theme is Icarus. Icarus is of course famous in Greek mythology, and in this cover and in this volume and volumes yet to be published he becomes the symbol for aspiration and failure for the author of love unrequited. This volume taken from a larger literary work somehow manages to eclipse the pain of love in poems that heal the soul and hopefully heal the soul of the reader who maybe experiencing similar love trauma.
