Quick Breads are easy to make and make a great snack any time of the day
The term quick bread is an American term given to breads that are made with a leavening agent such as baking soda, or baking powder rather than yeast. Yeast breads can take hours to make, whereas quick breads can be made in a much shorter time period. Quick breads are typically sweet and moist in texture. Quick breads are irresistible right out of the oven, but wrapping and storing quick breads overnight after they have cooled can enhance the flavors of the bread. Quick breads can be served for breakfast, or any other time of day as a delicious snack, or dessert.
