A dystopian novel for older teens and young adults.
RIVER DAWN tells the story of 15 year old Alice Page as she journeys with her family down a flooded river in the aftermath of an environmental disaster. Her father is a researcher looking for signs of life. One morning, after a tidal surge, they rescue a young man, named Daniel, from a sinking barge. He holds a secret and shadowy forces are hunting him. Soon, Alice finds herself falling in love with Daniel as a relentless bounty hunter and his crew close in. Young Alice must gather her wits and overcome her fears to keep herself and her family alive. RIVER DAWN is a futuristic tale of survival, but it's also an adventure set in a new and mysterious world.
