Dr. Philip Opondo is Assistant Programme Director, Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Botswana and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Associated Faculty of the Perelman School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania.
He has had extensive experience practicing and teaching psychiatry both in Kenya and Botswana.
This book arose out of his experiences practicing psychiatry in the public sector and teaching medical students and is aimed at medical officers, medical students, clinical officers and Psychiatric nurses both qualified and in training.
