Scotland Yard is baffled and Police Inspector Lestrade requests that Sherlock Holmes investigate this foul crime. Employing his astonishing powers of observation and logical deduction he solves the case, and brings the murderer to speedy justice.

This story was written for a contest that required it to contain a sack of cement, an unexpected hailstorm, and a mysterious death. The story won a prize.
