Sherlock Holmes and The Man In Concrete begins when a a fishing trawler off the coast of England brings up in its net a concrete block with a head sticking out of it. Scotland Yard is baffled and Police Inspector Lestrade requests that Sherlock Holmes investigate this foul crime. Employing his astonishing powers of observation and logical deduction he solves the case, and brings the murderer to speedy justice.
This story was written for a contest that required it to contain a sack of cement, an unexpected hailstorm, and a mysterious death. The story won a prize. Sherlock Holmes And the Man In Concrete is the shortest of my six Sherlock Holmes ebooks, and it is also the most popular. It has been translated into German and Spanish.
Readers will also enjoy the longer continuation story 'Sherlock Holmes And the Woman In Concrete' as well as my other Sherlock Holmes ebooks, which are listed and described on philduke.weebly,com.
