In Germany 1942 a young Jewish girl was forced to travel in a packed cattle train with her family to a concentration camp in Poland; a death camp under the auspices of Dr Mengele, ‘The Angel of Death.’ After being forcibly separated from her family she was confronted by Dr Mengele, her task was to read to Jewish twin boys and girls, in all the languages she knew, her only friend was a young KAPO- a Jewish camp police officer who was detailed to watch over her and the children. At the start she was separated from her mother and she was forced to work as a nurse. Her mother eventually escaped and was trained as a sniper by the Polish resistance.
Then, years later, the Russian army arrived.

About the Author
